On Saturday, December 1, 2018, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at the headquarters of CLS (Kineis’ parent company), an event organized by the Club Alpin Français de Toulouse will take place. It will include a conference entitled “Avalanches: How to reduce risks”, which will be followed by a presentation of tags/trackers and Kineis’ interest in this sector, then the film by Sandra Ducasse and Francisco Taranto: Women’s roads will be broadcast.
Philippe Descamps & Olivier Moret will be the two speakers at the conference, which will aim to have a concrete approach based on accident lessons. Simple tools, examples and methods adapted to everyone’s expectations: from beginner to expert.
Nelly Lachaud & Jean Muller, Kineis development managers, will present the different solutions (stress beacons, trackers…) on the market and a future solution based on Kineis connectivity. Combined with the COSPAS-SARSAT rescue system, this future solution will be able to provide outdoor sports enthusiasts with an epossibility of monitoring and will contribute to improving the safety of mountain enthusiasts.
This event will be the opportunity to attend the screening of the film “Female Paths”, which retraces the trajectories of three women who are passionate about climbing and mountains. Shot in the Mont-Blanc massif and the Chamonix valley, these three sportswomen talk to us about their interpretation of the word “force” and draw a parallel with their routes.
