Kineis: IoT everywhere


Kineis uses a radio chipset to provide satellite network connectivity to any mobile device. It integrates seamlessly into any device, enabling geo-localisation of any object worldwide. With the Kineis chipset, data is collected from the linked sensors.
Advantages: small size (7 mm x 7 mm), low power consumption, ease of integration, ultra-competitive price and its complementarity with numerous other systems.

IoT constellation

The constellation of nanosatellites supporting Kineis connectivity is unprecedented. It was tailor-made for the Internet of Things in cooperation with strategic partners, Thales Alenia Space for project management, Nexeya for platform development and manufacture, and Syrlinks for payload construction. All are major players in the space sector: reliable and recognised firms in whom we have complete confidence. The Kineis IoT constellation will be in orbit in 2021. Soon, millions of devices will be connected.

The Angels prototype nanosatellite will be launched in 2019. Six ARGOS satellites are already in orbit, enabling IoT project initiators to test their prototypes.

Operations Centre

Operational 24/7, every day of the year, the Operations center is based at the CLS headquarter, CLS processes data from the Kineis constellation. More than 50 people work there every day and manage the servers, network, processing algorithms, data and stream security, etc.
