Paris Air Show 2023 : Kinéis intervened on “Risk management for New Space companies”

Kinéis was present at the 54th edition of the Paris International Aeronautics and Space Show (SIAE), at Paris-Le Bourget Exhibition Center, from June 19th to the 25th, 2023. The SIAE brings together all the players of the aerospace industry world around the latest technological innovations (2,500 exhibitors, 150 start-ups from 21 countries, 2,700 journalists, more than 300,000 visitors including 140,000 professionals). This biannual meeting was the first since 2019, the 2021 edition having been canceled due to the health crisis.

Kinéis at the GIFAS StartAir village

Kinéis was present in the StartAir village, the club of start-ups in the French aeronautics and space sector, a high-tech and excellence sector bringing together more than 400 companies, created, and federated in April 2022 by the Groupement des Industries Françaises Aéronautiques et Spatiales (GIFAS). StartAir aims to accelerate cooperation between start-ups and companies in this sector. It provides its members with new assets to meet the challenges of the aeronautical and space industries, in terms of innovation, products, uses, and services.Kinéis is particularly proud to have joined GIFAS in 2022, a unique opportunity to interact within this community of actors and experts, a source of inspiration and development.

On Monday, June 19th, the President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron, who inaugurated the SIAE in the morning, spoke with the start-ups of the StartAir village. He was followed on Tuesday by Sylvie Retailleau, Minister of Higher Education and Research, Bruno Bonnell, Secretary General for Investment and a parliamentary delegation led by Jean-Luc Mélenchon. Several delegations of elected officials (parliamentary committees, regional presidents) also came to meet the start-ups.

Interventions at StartMeUp, a SIAE event

It should be noted that François Henry, Director of Strategy and Revenue at Kinéis, spoke twice at the SIAE. He first spoke this Monday, June 19th during the pitches and round tables of the SIAE StartMeUp event.

He then took part on Tuesday, June 20th in the keynote “Risk Management for New Space companies”, organized by ADF, an opportunity for him to share Kinéis experience in the production and launch of the constellation of 25 nanosatellites, scheduled for 2024.
